Christmas has always been the best time of the year where people just love to decorate and recreate their houses to embrace the much-anticipated atmosphere. But who says styling up your home for the holidays should be hard and costly?

With the help of these easy décor project suggestions, some good-old Christmas stuff from the previous years and a touch of creativity; one could spice up the look-and-feel of the holidays in a snap.

Living rooms

THE CLASSICS. They never fail to impress.

As the common room for accommodating guests, the living room is the busiest part of the house especially during Christmas parties where a lot of family get-togethers are happening.

  1. Instead of leaving books scattered around the house or keeping them stacked up in shelves, pile them up in a heap on top of a cabinet, a desk or even on the living room centerpiece. To add the holiday touch to it, place Christmas books or children’s stories on top. For added option, you can use a red ribbon to neatly package the pile.
  2. If you’re feeling artsy, grab a chunk of cardboard and create a big replica of the calendar for the month of December. Attach it to the wall where everyone in the family could see. You can stick ribbons on every square that passes through the countdown of days to the 25th.
  3. Christmas socks are kids’ favorites. Have one for each in the family and hang them across the living room shelf, on the wall or on staircases

Dining Rooms

GOT BALLS? Christmas balls in a colander or a glass bowl make for a simple yet attractive centerpiece to your dinner table.

Holidays won’t be complete without sumptuous meals and festive dinners. Add flair to fine dining with these suggestions:

  1. Extra Christmas balls are perfectly suitable for a unique table decoration. Gather those with accentuating colors and place them in a glass bowl. Make sure that the colors you use match the dining room ambience.
  2. Put a sweet touch to the season by creating a flower wreath to be placed as a table centerpiece. You can either use fresh flowers or artificial to according to your preference.

Bedrooms

MAKE IT FLAKY. Paper snowflakes add an aura that spells out "White Christmas".
  1. Make your dreams of a white Christmas come to life and rekindle childhood creativity by cutting paper snowflakes from paper and paste the cut-outs at your bedroom window.
  2. Dress up your teddy bears or any stuff-toys available at home in shades of red and green.
  3. Secure a place on your bedside table for assorted candles that are not anymore in use.

The list for upping your home style for the season goes on. As long as you can think of creative and quirky ideas to spend each Christmas in different ways, the possibilities are endless. Exploring how to beautify your house doesn’t only guarantee a better version of your home, but also quality time with the family as you bond along.
